Jacoby Kielwood Torrified Maple Pool Cue Shaft – Low-Deflection Precision

Jacoby’s advanced Kielwood torrification process transforms traditional maple into a high-performance shaft that delivers the feel of wood with the stability of carbon fiber. Using an oxygen-free kiln and extreme heat, the maple is thermally treated until the natural sugars are cooked out, moisture is removed, and the cellular structure of the wood is permanently altered.

The result is a shaft that is significantly stronger, more stable, and far more resistant to warping and humidity than standard maple—without sacrificing the classic feedback and touch players love. This process produces consistent hit characteristics, improved energy transfer, and long-term durability even in changing environments.

Finished with Jacoby’s Hy-Dex 202 ferrule, the Kielwood shaft delivers excellent cue-ball control with reduced deflection, making it an ideal choice for players who want modern performance while maintaining a traditional wood feel.
